We used to own the billboards.

That single fact explains everything about how we work. Scenic Marketing began as a billboard owner and operator — building, leasing, permitting, and selling outdoor in central California. When we sold the plant in 1999 and crossed to the buyer's side of the table, we brought the owner's playbook with us.

The early years

Scenic builds and operates its own outdoor advertising plant in central California — learning the economics of every panel from the inside: what it costs to build, light, lease, and maintain.

1999

Crossing the table

The plant is sold, and Scenic Marketing becomes a placement agency — putting decades of owner-side knowledge to work for the companies buying the space instead.

2000s

Coast to coast

The client roster grows to include Love's Travel Stops, Blue Beacon Truck Wash, and major hospitality brands — with campaigns running across interstate corridors nationwide.

Today

All 50 states, 70+ markets, one handshake

Scenic manages billboard campaigns in more than 70 markets — with active boards in 38 states today and the relationships to place clients in any of the 50 — handling negotiation, artwork, vinyls, installation verification, and consolidated billing for every client.

Carole runs the side of the business clients never have to think about: contracts, owner payments, and the consolidated billing that turns a dozen vendor relationships into one clean invoice.
